A short album about depression, anxiety, anger, obsession, violence and all the fun stuff. It's a pretty raw and ugly album, not a pleasurable listening experience, not polished, but unconfortable, like the negative emotions I've carried for a long time now. Another EP was planned before it, but this one felt more fitting now, because I can't just make music like that, my desire to make new music and inspiration always comes from a certain feeling, emotion, which then takes it's form to a song, continuing from there on. The track Slaveciety came into creation when I was very pissed and had to make my anger into a song. IIt's about being forced to change yourself only to please other people who don't give a shit about you anyway. Moju (Skin Flick) was inspired by sexploitation movies, most notably the Japanese movie Moju aka Blind Beast, the story of a blind artist, who kidnaps a woman to sculpt his new figure, which slowly turns into a story about sadomasoshism. It's a song about lust and pain, how the human mind becomes stimulated by images. Forgotten Dreams is about depression and how we give up on our dreams and trapped into a pit where there's no escape. The piano is a heavilty altered sample from Vitas Dreams, which I remixed. Pale Faced Shadow was inspired by the sleep paralysis I experienced, where I saw a creepy old lady, resembling my grandmother, sitting at the corner of my bed, smiling at me. It's also a song about anxiety and fear, how it slowly consumes you and it becomes part of your reality. Violated Cranium is a song about self-hate and self-destruction, even suicide, with a social commentary about wannabe heroes, like the Antifa, who hurt everyone who doesn't think like them. It's the image of a society that is unforgiving if you don't want to fit in. It's a rant against a so-called open world that doesn't tolerate different opinions.
The cover is a shot from a movie called Rare Fetish, a rare Japanese hardcore flick, where 2 people have sex in a room full of rotting cow flesh and guts and using the flesh to pleasure themselves. I thought the image of the rotting, skinned bull head was striking and really fits the overall bleak and apocalyptic tone of the album. It's a very visceral image, which fits the body-horror and nihilistic horrors of my music project as a whole.
I make atmospheric Biomechanical Ambient music, which mixes the metallic soundscapes of industrial music with dark ambient and the beats of trip hop and ambient techno.
